An identical paper to Kozo Thick White, just with a warmer tone. This paper is ideal for projects that call for a very strong paper that is still semi-transparent.

This white tone washi paper provides a beautiful bright white base that is suited for a variety of fine art reproductions, particularly line drawings and painted watercolors. We would not recommend printing ink-heavy images on this paper, due to the slightly lower level of ink absorption in washi papers. At its weight, this paper is suitable for projects or images that require a stronger construction while still being semi-transparent.

Unryu Thin reflects a classic Japanese aesthetic elevated by the swirling visible mulberry fibers through the paper. This beautiful semi-transparent paper is recommended for work seeking visible texture as its fibers remain visible even through swathes of ink. It prints illustrations and select photography particularly well. It has a thin weight, making it a delicate paper to work with and handle.

Tesuki-Washi Echizen sheets are a stunning traditional handmade Japanese paper constructed from 40% Kozo fibers and 60% hemp. It has a truly unique surface texture and deckled edge, with no two sheets ever the same. Due to its handmade nature, each sheet size as well as squaredness varies slightly. With a gorgeous surface and one of a kind feel, it prints well in both black and white and color applications, and we recommend imagery with some open space to allow its texture to shine through. A1+ size deckled edge sheets come in at approximately 26” x 39”, and we highly recommend printing at a size that accommodates the full sheet of paper to retain the natural deckle.

This thin kozo paper made by Epson has a natural warm tone, and refined surface. Part of their 'signature-worthy' line, this paper is a premium substrate for all kinds of imagery, from photography to painting.
